I have been helping clients buy and sell real estate across Vancouver more than 22 years. Watching this city change and grow and helping people become successful in real estate is my passion. I would describe myself as a uniquely talented property investor, focused on putting the quality of a location, property/building and home/condo at the forefront with all Buyers. As a listing realtor, my competitive advantage is market valuations - using market data to accurately forecast selling prices so that the best list price can be selected to generate maximum return. After graduating from the University of Victoria, my interest in architectural design, urban planning and financial investing lead me to real estate with Royal LePage Sussex. I purchased my first house in North Vancouver at the age of 25 and promptly renovated and sold it, reinvesting into a Yaletown condominium that I continue to manage as a rental. I know first-hand that the real estate market is anything but created equal. For me, it’s all about preparation and patience. With thorough analysis and a calculated, non-emotional approach to negotiation, there is no need to overpay in the high-priced Vancouver market.
At the heart of my business is the relationship I have with my clients. I outsource almost all business support so that the majority of my time is spent one-on-one. My unique approach to market analysis helps you identify opportunities in the market that are not easily recognized by general, high-level market opinions. Expertise in municipal zoning bylaws and construction requirements provides valuable insight to my clients about how properties can be postively or negatively impacted by future changes. I encourage my clients to look further––to sell real estate only if their goal is to reinvest into something more secure with greater long term potential. If that means not selling, I will be the first to tell you.
I believe strongly in the value of finding the right community. I live with my wife, Vanessa, and our 2 sons, Ari and Nate in the Fraser/Mountainview neighbourhood in East Vancouver. I value time with my family and friends, and look forward to wherever our next family trip abroad might take us. My hobbies include architecture, travel, golf and hockey.
